New technology in the municipality's operations – get involved and influence!
Now you have the opportunity to make your voice heard and influence the development of Skellefteå Municipality's work with Artificial Intelligence. During the evening, we will provide dinner, a performance by Unghästen, and exciting discussions and lectures with some of Europe's leading researchers in the AI field.

There is no doubt that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already a part of many people's lives today. But how is new technology introduced into public services, for example within healthcare and social care, or education and the labour market, without negatively affecting citizens? Skellefteå Municipality has initiated a collaboration with a research group at Umeå University, which is world-leading in methods for assessing how AI can be used in an ethical and reliable way.
We would like to know what you think!
During the meeting, you'll have the chance to answer questions about your views on AI. You don't need any prior knowledge of the subject, as the participants' answers will be collected by the research team and will form the basis for governing documents and requirements for AI solutions that will be decided by Skellefteå Municipality's politicians.
Some parts of the programme will be conducted in English and others in Swedish. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss in Swedish.
